Remarks

• small (15-35 mm) pectinid
• colouration usually white brown sometimes orange brown
• about 15-22 broad, lamellose ribs
• hard to separate from Mimachlamys cloacata (Reeve, 1853) living from Japan-Indonesia to Papua New Guinea.
